Second Chances

It doesn't matter if you are the slowest or the fastest person in the world. Everyone of us is running. Running from something and running to something or someone. The mistakes we have made, we run from. What we fear we also run from. The possibility of facing and correcting them doesn't come in handy because of how scared we are to start.

No matter how fast you run, there are some things you can't outrun because those things somehow manage to catch up with you. Second chances in life are a given. We are lucky sometimes to get some, other times we are not. Most times we get a lot but still don't realize how and when to use them.

This life is a mystery as we know it. The global village the world has turned itself into exposes us to a lot of things we are unprepared for. Somethings we can never be prepared for, and that's how we misunderstand the givings. The things given to us and the things taken from us.

The pressure, dissatisfaction, and everything else in between all boils down to regret. Regretting what you should have said or what you should have done. Every step towards your dream today is a step away from your regret tomorrow. You have a second chance today? Make the most of it and do something you ought to. Something you should have done.

No Excuse Not To Buy It

The rich and successful people with glamorous styles and eye catching wardrobes show a lot of shiny fashion as there is a constant parade of fashionistas all trying to be seen and photographed or better still featured in a magazine. They know what's new and what's not.  

The ones who aren't as well off then feel less adequate because they cannot keep up or participate in the Fashion trends. News Flash  People! You do not really require that much money to be in style, because money can't buy you style, neither can it buy you class. If you have it within, you will always have it without needing a lot of cash to acquire it. 

There are a lot of stores to check out. Stores that sell at lesser prices than those malls with huge price tags. Stores that sell cheap but lovely clothes that last. As long as you're fashionable, you can walk into any store and get the clothes in there. For a store where you could pay more than a thousand zeros for a pair of denim or a pair of shoes, you could pay just a few zeros in another store downtown. 

Knowing how to accessorize is another thing. Clothes can be elevated with the right accessories, none of which have to be too expensive as long as the beauty of it catches the eye, and it is worn properly. With these clothes and accessories, you could build your wardrobe and be in fashion.  

If you understand that clothes with high end prices don't make you cooler than others who are just as stylish, because you want to show how much you spent, then you've got this covered.

A model with integrity

The way models are seen to be these days discourage the aspiring ones from engaging in that profession. ‎They already have a name tag and they see what's going on in and out of there and they say 'scratch that, never mind'. 

The ones who want it because of the love and passion they have for it and the ones who just get into it because they want the spotlight so bad that it keeps them blind to what is actually right. 

As years  pass, it will become a more deadly game to either win or lose in the industry. No model already in or aspiring wants to be turned down or left behind. They push themselves to be seen but do abnormal things in the process and some do it so effortlessly that it has me wondering how we are ever going to come out of this if everyone of them keeps on agreeing to such an attitude ‎and acts so they can get in and be up there.

They have taken advantage of what this ought to be and have set a standard too high for some not tall enough to get to. You should understand what I mean when I simply say that what they want from you shouldn't be bad enough to have you struggling with the kind of person you are, and the kind you have to be for such a bad reason. 

Saying all models are regarded as sex slaves won't be necessary as you already know. There are too many driven and over ambitious males and females in the entertainment industry and on the road, everyone else is seen as such and treated like crap because of that image.

We forget that it won't kill ‎to say NO. Especially to things that could haunt us. Be brave enough to say no if someone commits to the bad and not to the good of what modeling can be. If everyone says no, there will be no other choice for them but to take you the way you want them to.. In purity and modesty. 

You are the model. You are needed for their market to grow. Be wise enough to not succumb to the sweet talk in‎to letting you do what they want simply because they have an edge and because they are the ones to put you out there in the market. Say NO today and let this act change for good. We can start now by ourselves to keep this nation less corrupt. Don't wait too long for the change you can initiate.

What's up there?

I remember when I was less than ten years old. I never really looked at the moon to consider what was behind it's beauty and what adds a great deal to its significance. A child that looks up in the sky, not just at the moon, but into it, with those beautiful eyes filled with wonder of how the lady up and inside just remains whispering words of hope, love and acceptance that somehow makes him feel lighter and a little bit happier.
That little child is in all of us. Sometimes we just lose focus, lose track of time that we want time itself to stop randomly and wait for a while till we are ready to live again. 
I bet you do not know what it actually means to look into the moon. To stare into it for more than 10 seconds and slowly drift. There is a lot of  peace waiting to soothe. People never really pay attention to things. They just walk by without noticing the very little things that are so important. The spirit in us that hungers for something different desperately. 
You say you are not desperate. Your mind isn't, but every time you're alone, your heart is.
No one has all the answers to your questions as this life is simply random. God first, family, and everything else that follows. With those directions in mind, listen closely to the silence and pay attention to the little things in your life and around you, because they matter the most.

There must be one person you admire and the real reason for the admiration is the way that person dresses. You love what the person wears and how he or she wears it so much that you find yourself offering a compliment every once in a while. All the time would be kinda creepy.

But you wish that a certain someone or people at large will do the same to you. You want to be admired, complimented every now and then, but you lack behind on Fashion trends. You slack my dear!

Keeping up with fashion trends is quite easy for some people who are willing. You either see new trends on Fashion shows, on celebrity television, on the streets,malls and magazines that you can even get to create your own fashion.

Are you having a hard time observing? Let's try this! Check the Internet for new fashion. Go to stores that have the latest fashion in them and try on some outfits to see how good they suit you and what serves you best.If you are too busy or lazy to go, check the Internet and order online. As simple as that. And if that doesn't work for you, look through clothing catalogs and magazines. You could get ideas and design your own clothes if possible. Watch TV shows too.. that helps.

I must tell you though, the new fashion will always be expensive. Don't admire the new fasionable items so much it makes you want to sell your TV set or fridge to get a pair of shoes you love so much. Know your limit and stick to it, but extend a little if you can.
