The most anticipated election result of our
time which featured two political juggernauts; General Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was exhausting and hilarious with all those dps coming
around as we were all at Jega's mercy to hear the results which took more than two days to be released.
To
those who were strongly rooting for Goodluck,Professor JEGA gave his name an apt acronym: (Just Ended
Goodluck's Administration) that lasted 6 years. Is there anyone else who
thinks that the whole change therapy sessions are all but political
stances?.
Far too
often we blindly believe in what we have been taught without using our
own faculties to examine the world around us and come to our own
conclusions. I believe here we already did, as Nigerians have concluded.
The
change we all want, I hope and pray we get. If we believe our new
president is the change we need, we'll just have to see. All can't
happen in a year right? Give it two years. If he's bad enough, let's
give him a month.
I
desperately want to see the kind of change he has been talking about. I
just hope every Nigerian citizen will be prepared for it however good or
bad it is.

GEJ assumed office on 06/05/2010, which means his administration spanned five years rather than six years which the apc wants us to believe. Change has come. With it comes a heavy marginalisation towards certain regions of the country. GEJ,to me, doesn't understand third world politics neither does he know how it's played. His infamous " my political ambitions isn't the blood of any Nigerian" is meaningless to the average northerner and they don't give a damn. In the game of power especially in third world countries like ours, there must be casualties and these northern elite know this. My own opinion, if he weren't prepared enough to take on the challenge he should have and probably nominated someone else who could do his bidding. He's now a "HERO" at whose detriment? I can only urge my brothers and sisters to fasten their seat belts against very strong marginalisation and ethnic bigotry. Thank you!
