Cynthia Elohor Emekako popularly referred to as CY with "Thia’s Couture" as a brand name, is a Theatre Artiste, Model, Fashion Designer/Illustrator, and a Costumier.

CY graduated from the department of Theatre Arts & Mass Communication in the University of Benin, and asides having costumed Theatrical productions in Dance, Music, & Drama including short Comedy Skits, Thia’s first and most recent biggest yet fashion show project recently organised by her was titled “Naija’s Culture Closet”. This Closet projected the Nigerian culture in a very fantastic way through fashion in the modern era and looked into the cultural designs from them in order to communicate their art to the world.

As the Campus Student Designer of the year 2015, CY has always had a knack for fashion which is always evident in her choice of clothes and how she puts them together.

Now CY has come to the fashion world to stay and bloom in the industry. I saw firsthand her collection for Naija’s Culture Closet, and I must say it was fascinating! I was really impressed with her creativity and play of designs with the different Nigerian fabrics from 'Aso Oke' down to 'Akwa Oche'.

CY obviously has plans to give more to the fashion industry starting by making the NCC (Naija’s Culture Closet) an annual fashion show as she believes there’s more to explore on our culture with fashion, and that I agree!

What else is there?

She was clueless. She felt numb. Her heart beat slower than normal... was it supposed to be dying within and being seen as living on the outside? because she was dying both inside and out.

She couldn't fake an expression. She tried sometimes, but only the good ones noticed... the ones who really paid attention. Don't mention the lost ones she never thought she'd lose but have somehow gone missing, resisting the urge to find their way back and replacing her warm beating heart with a cold and slowly beating one.

Forsaken, mistaken to be what it isn't that so distant are the love songs in her head becoming.

What else is there? for if this is an experience of life, an experience with brilliance enough to have her torn and clueless regardless, then it should leave her victorious.

#ThrowbackMusic - 'Love My Baby' by Wizkid

Wizkid practically blew me away with this track! At that time love was in the air for me and it was just perfect. Lol

The song was released in July 2011 and it was one of Wizkid's official singles off his first album 'SuperStar'.

It was a massive hit at the time, and trust me... it still is ;)
